Sinn is returning to a hand-wound movement for a series 103 watch for the first time in two decades to give a new three subdial chronograph more of a vintage appeal.
The 103 St Ty Hd is a throwback to the classic pilot chronographs of the 1960s, which required a daily winding ritual.
Its matt black dial has a red central chronograph hand and a yellow 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock.
The 41mm steel watch is powered by a Sellita SW 510 M movement,
There is a seconds track broken down to one-fifth of each second, an internal tachymeter scale and an external 60 minutes pilot bezel.
They can be bought on a black or dark green wild boar leather strap.
Sinn says it will make only 1,000 of the hand-wound watches priced at €2,590.
