Ralph Lauren latest watch brand to join FHH

Ralph Lauren is the latest watch brand to join the Fondation de La Haute Horlogerie (FHH), becoming the 28th fully-fledged member of the fine watchmaking initiative.

Ralph Lauren joined Richemont Group in 2008 to form Ralph Lauren Watch & Jewelry, with the objective to design, develop, manufacture and distribute fine watches and fine jewellery through Ralph Lauren boutiques and select independent retailers.

The brand launched its first timepieces at SIHH in 2009, a move that is said to have established Ralph Lauren watches in international markets, "thanks to its exclusive approach to luxury".

The watch brand now sells in 25 countries and in major cities around the world including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris, London, Milan, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.

The FHH was founded five years ago by three founders – Girard-Perregaux, Richemont Group and Audemars Piguet. It aims to promote fine watchmaking internationally, fostering and promoting fine watchmaking’s values of creativity, culture and tradition.

The 28 partner brands of the FHH are: A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Bovet, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Christophe Claret, Corum, De Bethune, Greubel Forsey, Harry Winston, Hermès, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Perrelet, Piaget, Ralph Lauren Watch & Jewelry, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Tag Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Zenith.
