It is being hailed as a victory for its fans as a long-desired 38mm version of the 38mm Khaki Field Murph is unveiled.

Mr Stauffer says customers have been pleading for the smaller case size of a field watch first made as a prop for the Hollywood blockbuster Interstellar in 2014 when it played a part in the planet saving mission of Cooper and his daughter Murphy.
The watch found its way into Hamilton’s core collection in 2019 as a 42mm Khaki Field.
Today that watch has been trimmed to a more modern 38mm, closer to the size of military field watches from the 1940s.
The new Khaki Field Murph is a faithful reissue, with the same ultra-readable black dial, beige vintage-style Super-LumiNova finished hands and black leather strap.
It is powered by the H-10 automatic movement with 80-hour power reserve, which is on view through an exhibition case back.
