The first, and we stress it is just the first of several, new versions of Swatch’s MoonSwatch for 2023 is going on sale again today.
Cities across Asia and Europe, including London, had a one-day-only opportunity on March 7 to buy a new MoonSwatch with a veneer of Omega’s trademarked Moonshine Gold on its central chronograph hand.
That was the date of the last full moon, and fans should be aware of the lunar cycle to spot future drops from Swatch.
America missed out on the Mission to Moonshine Gold edition, leaving Stateside completionist collectors with a hole in their watch case unless they were prepared to pay around $800 on eBay.
This time, with a second consignment of Moonshine MoonSwatches going on sale today, and Manchester is getting its shot.
There is one location in the USA selling the new piece, the Swatch Store on Times Square in New York, from 7pm EST.
There is also a simultaneous launch in Plaza Satélite Naucalpan de Juarez in Mexico and Eaton Centre Toronto, Canada.
