Watches have been getting smaller in recent years, but sustainable Swiss watchmaker Mondaine is bucking that trend by adding 43mm models to its evo2 Collection.
It is still a classic Mondaine, using the minimalist design of Swiss Railway station clocks as its template.
There are versions with white-on-black or black-on-white dials, both with red second hands in the shape of a railway guard’s signalling lollipop.
They come with vegan grape leather straps and steel mesh bracelets, which can be swapped without tools.
The quartz watches are on sale now for £269 on the vegan leather strap or £279 on mesh.
