Gucci has officially opened a watch and jewellery boutique in partnership with Lunn’s Jewellers in the Queen’s Arcade in Belfast.
The boutique joins the recently opened Montblanc showroom, also a franchise operation with Lunn’s.
Along with Gucci and Montblanc, the historic family jeweller now has boutiques for Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer and Rolex.
The Lunn family also owns the Queen’s Arcade and invested around £2.5 million in a major renovation of the Victorian shopping thoroughfare recently.
“We are excited about the future for Queen’s Arcade and will continue to invest to make it one of the premier shopping destinations in Ireland,” says John Lunn, managing director of Lunn’s Jewellers.
Gucci’s watch and jewellery boutique is distillation of the Italian fashion house’s signature styles.
It uses sage green leather paneled walls and an optical-patterned carpet.
Leather-finished counters and wooden display towers house presentations of watches and jewellery on cherry velvet busts and hands or peacock boxes.
Backlit Gucci logos, spotlights and polished glass illuminate the collections, creating interplay between shadow, light, and different textures.
