Longines ambassador at royal ascot

Longines ambassador joins brand at Royal Ascot

Longines’ ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined the watch brand for a day at the races, this week.

The Indian beauty and Bollywood star spent the day at Royal Ascot, where Longines celebrated seven years of being official timekeeper of Royal Ascot. This year the Swiss watchmaker was also the official partner and watch of Royal Ascot.

Bachchan presented a Conquest Classic watch to the winning jockey, owner, trainer and lad of Sole Power, the horse that won the King’s Stand Stakes, a prestigious Grade 1 race held on the opening day of the Royal Ascot meeting. Longines also judged the best turned out horse contest.

Bachchan was alongside Longines vice president and head of international marketing Juan Carlos Capelli and brand director UK Katrina Jones when she presented the prize for the King’s Stand Stakes race to winning jockey Johnny Murtagh and the winning horse Sole Power.

Royal Ascot was also the ideal setting for the Swiss watchmaker to present its new Conquest Classic collection, which was inspired by equestrian sports.
