London Jewelers appoints new COO as family business plans transition to its fourth generation

Olivier Nourani joins from Ladurée, the French hospitality brand where he oversaw their US expansion.

London Jewelers has appointed Olivier Nourani as its new chief operating officer.

The fourth generation family business, headed by CEO Mark Udell and president Candy Udell, has a network of 17 stores across New York, New Jersey and Florida.

It celebrates its centenary in 2026.

Mr Nourani brings a wealth of experience working with luxury brands, most recently as COO of Ladurée, the French hospitality brand, where he oversaw their US expansion.

Prior to that he spent almost ten years at Van Cleef & Arpels in New York where he worked first in finance and then as vice president of business development for the United States, Canada and Brazil.

Mark and Candy’s son Scott, daughter Randi and nephew Zach, are all senior executives at London Jewelers, and Mr Nourani is joining the company as part of its planned transition to the fourth generation of the Udell family.

He will initially report to Mark and Candy Udell.

Tim Claire, the current COO will continue with the company as director of operations during the transition.

Mr Nourani says he is very pleased to return to the jewelry and timepiece marketplace and looks forward to working with a family-owned business with such a strong track record of success.
