London Craft Week will showcase artistic creations across the city from May 14 to 18, with Kensington’s Cromwell Place presenting 20 objects created during the Homo Faber Fellowship programme.
Craft Week highlights the intersection between creativity and commercial reality, with brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre showing off its watchmaking expertise from its boutique on Old Bond Street.
The presentation includes a special showcase of JLC’s enamelling skills over two days from May 15 to 16, with one of the company’s artists showing how the technique has been used to decorate its Reverso watches since they first appeared in 1931.
Visitors will be able to help create their own Reverso with the choice of a personalised case back with an engraving or a miniature enamel work.
