Leading watch collectors and traders meet for the latest eBay Sellers’ Club episode

eBay’s Sellers’ Club is developing into a fascinating series featuring some of the best-informed watch experts in the business.

I say best-informed experts because the guests on the social media series live and breathe watches every day because their livelihoods depend on making the best decisions when buying and selling them.

A new episode on the @eBaywatches Instagram feed dropped this week, with three collectors: Kat Shoulders from Worn & Wound hosting Jeffrey Hess from Hess Fine Auctions (among his other successful companies), and Matthew Becker, president and CEO of BeckerTime, one of eBay’s largest pre-owned Rolex watch sellers in the world.

The three watch experts shared their views on their life and loves in the business and the watches they most admire.

Mr Hess brings a vintage Nautilus designed by Gerald Genta, that has a power reserve on the dial and unusual Roman numeral hour markers.

Ms Shoulders picks a Cartier de Santos as her everyday watch fit to last a lifetime.

An Omega Railroad, which Mr Hess discovered on eBay, is discussed for its simplistic genius.

eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee is discussed as a game-changer for traders and collectors.

“It really changed everything,” Mr Hess says, particularly after learning that Stoll & Co is doing the authentication work.
