Fellows Auctioneers has appointed Laura Warrilow as Head of Watches, marking a welcome return for the experienced watch specialist.
Warrilow previously led the department from 2009 to 2014, a period in which the auction house expanded its calendar from four watch sales a year to handling over 7,000 timepieces annually.
Her return follows over a decade at Watches of Switzerland Group, where she was instrumental in building its pre-owned watch division.
Under her leadership, the division grew turnover more than twentyfold, cementing its position as a market leader in pre-owned luxury watches.
At Fellows, Laura will focus on developing both commercial and client-facing operations within the Watch Department, reinforcing the company’s reputation for quality auctions of fine and vintage timepieces.
She will work alongside specialists across the business to drive growth and attract both private and trade consignments.
Her first sales in the role include the Watches & Watch Accessories auction on 29 May and the flagship Watches sale on 26 June.
She will also host valuation and private viewing events in London and Birmingham throughout June.
This strategic move supports Fellows’ long-term goal to enhance its presence in the competitive UK watch auction market.
About her new role, Laura has said “I’m overjoyed to be joining the Fellows family business again and am looking forward to working with such a fantastic and motivated team to build upon the already prosperous watch department. It is a wonderful opportunity that I am eager to take advantage of.”
