Jaeger-LeCoutre is quick out of the blocks in 2024 with the unveiling of a new Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon with a blue Grand Feu enamel dial.
The watch oozes opulence in its 40mm 18ct rose gold case that stands a mere 12.1mm high on the wrist.
It is powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s automatic Calibre 978 tourbillon movement, which won an international chronometry prize when it launched in 2009.
JLC is one of the few maisons that is capable of making its own balance springs in house.
The dial is another technical and artistic achievement with its hand-guilloché pattern of 180 sun rays created using six passages of a hand-operated rose engine lathe guided by a master guillocheur who ensures that every line is absolutely straight, evenly spaced and perfectly aligned.
The dial is then given several layers of Grand Feu enamel to achieve unique shades of blue.

The watch is paired with a blue alligator leather strap.
