Isotope Watches calls court to session with new HydriumX “The Judge”

Limited to just 100 pieces and priced online at £700, the Judge can be seen “in the metal” on the 24th September at the World Time UK Watch event in Heathrow, London.

Isotope has presented its latest launch with the HydriumX “The Judge”.

It presides black, white and red to reflect the colour palette that is synonymous with judges dress code.

In a release to media, Jose Miranda, Co-Founder at Isotope explained: “In their traditional clothing, sometimes complete with ceremonial wig, they stand for law and order, applied fairly and with diligence (well…most times!). These signature colours now also come together in the latest edition of the HydriumX appropriately named ‘The Judge.’

“A black dial with white bold Arabic numerals filled in with Swiss Super-LumiNova and red hands outlined with the same luminous material acknowledges the ‘jurisdiction’ of the timepiece, giving it a natural authority.”

“The Judge” is the third model that Isotope is introducing in the highly successful HydriumX collection, which consists only of limited editions.

The first, the HydriumX ‘Will Return,’ marked a breakthrough for Isotope, earning recognition among an even wider group of enthusiasts for fine watchmaking.

With the HydriumX ‘Blink,’ Isotope looked at challenging the way genders are perceived in watchmaking by combining colours traditionally used to mark the birth of boys and girls in a single watch.

While pictures won’t do it justice, “The Judge” won’t blink either, as it comes with the same micro-blasted stainless steel case with a diameter of 40mm, offering a 30atm/300-meter water resistance.

Thanks to the unidirectional, 120-click, diving bezel that sits high on the case and 22mm wide lugs, the HydriumX has a character of its own.

The case back offers deep engravings, including the individual number of the watch, along with a sapphire crystal insert through which the Swiss-made Landeron calibre can be admired.

This automatic movement features a power reserve of 40 hours and runs at 4Hz/28,800 A/h. It features a sophisticated finish complete with blued screws, engine-turned surfaces, and horizontal striping. The Isotope Lacrima on the oscillating weight forms the finishing touch.

The 22mm wide FKM strap offers a vintage look with increased wearing comfort, thanks to the supple material. Particular attention was paid to the design of the buckle, so that the contact with the skin is minimized, making the Isotope HydriumX even more pleasant to wear under all conditions.

Limited to just 100 pieces and priced online at £700, the Judge can be seen “in the metal” on the 24th September at the World Time UK Watch event in Heathrow, London.
