Ferragamo has introduced a brand-new exclusive edition of one of its most successful male watches, the F-80.
To mark National Ocean Month, the Florentine Fashion House has presented the F-80 Skeleton With Sustainable Strap, an exclusive re-edition of one of its most successful male’s timepieces in a sustainable key.
Available in two new green and blue versions, in a limited series, the new F-80 Skeleton With Sustainable Strap encloses in its elegant satin-finished steel case an automatic movement visible through the transparency of the case back and skeleton dial, on which the double Gancini symbol stands out.
The strap is made of materials with a reduced environmental impact: a thin layer of FSC-certified cork covers the inner part, while the outer part is made of fabric composed of post-consumer recycled PET fibre with hole covers in vegetable-tanned leather.
With Sustainable Strap is presented in special packaging, also made of materials with a low environmental impact: the box is in FSC certified cardboard, while the protective case, in wood and metal – available in two colours to match those of the watch – is lined internally with hemp and externally with fabric made of post-consumer recycled PET fibre.
The watch cushion is made of bioplastic material derived 100% from sugar cane.
The new F-80 Skeleton With Sustainable Strap will be on sale from the end of June in Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques, at authorised retailers and online.
