British watchmaker Farer seems to have an instinctive feel for colour combinations that chime with our times.
With the warmth of spring on our backs and dreams of summer ahead, the business has come up with a perfectly pitched family of dive watches, the Farer Aquamatics.
Farer describes the Aquamatic as “the ultimate go-anywhere sports watch in fresh designs, bold colours and modern specs – all packed into an unbelievably compact case”.
There are four models in the 2022 collection, each of which can be worn on interchangeable colour-coordinated Nato or rubber straps or a steel bracelet.
Each colourway has its own name.
Thurso has a white dial with a teal bezel and orange minutes track.
Cribbar has a black dial with red accents and oversized white hour markers.
Porthleven is blue with accents of red and white.
Freshwater has a white dial with hour markers and a bezel in a soft blue-green.
The 38.5mm watches are powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW220-1 movement driving hours, minutes, seconds and day and date in either English or French.
Nice fresh colour range, except for the boring blue Porthleven.
