Farer’s three-hand watches, drawing on the simplicity and styles of mid-20th century timekeepers, have always been bankers for the British brand since its creation back in 2015.
But, if 39.5mm is starting to feel large for watches designed with a field watch aesthetic, Farer has you covered with the launch of 36mm pieces in four signature colourways.
The steel watches use the automatic La Joux-Perret G101 movement, which has a 68 hour power reserve.
The finished movement, carrying Farer’s logo on its rotor, is visible through an exhibition case back framed by the company’s motto: British Design x Swiss Made.
They can be bought on rubber or two types of coloured leather strap for £890 to £895, plus there is the option of a Milanese steel mesh bracelet taking the price to £905.
Farer has four styles in the 36mm collection with dial colours in white, midnight blue, sorbet (a sort of dark salmon) or red.
Each have subtle details that make them slightly different including slim baton hour markers on the midnight blue model while the other three have numbers; and different colours of lume in the pipette-shaped hands.
