Goldsmiths’ store in Southampton’s WestQuay boutique is to reopen this week following a £1m refurbishment.
Customers will be able to experience the luxury refit – and the all-new boutique.Goldsmiths – for themselves when the store reopens on Thursday.
The store features dedicated Omega, Breitling, Longines and TAG Heuer shop-in-shops whilst also introducing Gucci jewellery, Rado, Oris and Hamilton.
Craig Bolton, executive brand director for Goldsmiths, said: “The refurbishment is hugely exciting news for Southampton. The WestQuay refurbishment not only offers our customers a higher-quality, luxury experience, it also showcases some of our most sought-after fashion brands in the boutique.Goldsmiths store. We truly believe that WestQuay customers will enjoy the new-look interior and extended fashion area.”
WestQuay also becomes one of just a handful of shopping centres in the UK to introduce boutique.Goldsmiths this year, bringing brands such as Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Marc Jacobs and Olivia Burton to the store.
The introduction of boutique.Goldsmiths has created 14 new jobs creating a team of 26 full and part-time employees, managed by the store managers, Paul Kitchen and Yalda Kader.
This weekend customers will be treated to champagne as they shop and on Saturday shoppers can pick a golden envelope at random to be in with a chance of winning two watches, each worth more than £400.
