Watchfinder features in list of companies with fastest growing sales

Pre-owned luxury watch retailer Watchfinder has featured in a list of 100 privately owned British companies with the fastest-growing sales.

Watchfinder places 99th in the 19th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 with 43% sales growth over the past three years.

The list, published on Sunday, states that Watchfinder employs 104, makes sales worth £38.7million and its average watch sale is worth £4,000.

Sir Richard Branson of Virgin, sponsor of the Fast Track 100 since its inception, said: “This year’s Fast Track 100 is packed full of entrepreneurs and family businesses tackling many different challenges head-on and thriving thanks to their team spirit and togetherness. Entrepreneurship and family values are at the heart of everything we do at Virgin. Like many on the Fast Track 100, we’ve turned a family business into a business family. Working with family works.”

The top spot went to mobile phone recycler and distributor GreenTech Distribution which has recorded growth of 248% over the past three years, sales of £48.9m and a workforce of just 20.
