British watch brand Elliot Brown has become the official timing partner for the 2023 Inter Service Championship Rugby, a tournament for British armed forces teams.
Throughout the tournament, all officials’ timepieces will be provided by Elliot Brown.
In addition, each player of the match will win an Elliot Brown watch.
Elliot Brown has a proud association with the military, and was the first watch brand to receive the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award for their outstanding support of the community.
The company also created a dive watch, the Holton Professional, which is used by the military in Hamworthy near its HQ in Poole, and half of its workforce is made up of military veterans and spouses.
The business is less than a decade old, but has already raised more than £750,000 for Armed Forces Associations and Charities, largely from donating a percentage of the income received from Special Military Watches, made and co-branded individually for a unit, battalion, regiment or squadron.
“As founders of Elliot Brown Watches we’re not from military backgrounds. We didn’t set out to become a major supporter of the military community, it has been an entirely natural process having seen first-hand the effects of forces life on individuals, families and communities. Giving back, supporting where we can and being flexible feels the right way to run the business,” says Ian Elliot, co-founder of Elliot Brown.
As part of their ongoing support of the armed services, Elliot Brown also gives a 20% discount on any of their standard watches to serving or former military personnel.
