Czapek & Cie adds glacier blue and salmon dial options to Antartique Passage de Drake collection

Antartique Passage de Drake watches have been another hit for Czapek & Cie. since launching in 2020 thanks, in part, to their three-dimensional stamped trapezoid-patterned dials that the company calls its Stairway to Eternity style.

The texture of the dials might well have been more subtle were it not for a chance discovery during their design.

“We finally discovered the perfect motif when our designer accidentally enlarged the trapezoids by 50% without realising it, and it looked amazing. That’s the beauty of mistakes,” recalls Czapek & Cie. CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel.

The first collection of Passage de Drake watches, retailing in the United States for $20,600 plus tax (around £19,000 with VAT in the UK), came in white, black, blue and gray dial versions.
