Croydon watch brand targeted by thieves

Croydon-based watch brand Krug Baümen has been targeted by thieves who stole £12,000-worth of watches from its warehouse.

Police have described the raid on the storage unit in the Beddington area of Croydon as “professional and organised”.

The thieves cut through a metal wall to access the watches and escaped with 500 Krug Baümen timepieces.

Police believe that the watches will be sold off within the Croydon area and are asking any retailers that are approached with the watches to contact them.

This is not the first time that Krug Baümen has become a victim of robbery. Despite increasing security and moving premises the brand has been targeted several times in the past few years.

If you have information about the stolen Krug Baümen watches you can get in touch with the police on 020 8649 0777, or alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
