Citizen used this week’s World Oceans Day to unveil a fresh dive watch collection named United with Blue, which incudes three limited-edition timepieces inspired by the oceans.
There is one Promaster Dive model and two Attessa pieces.
All three use Citizen’s Eco-Drive1 technology that keeps quartz movements humming for years thanks to harnessing the power of the sun.
Citizen’s 44mm Promaster Dive Unite with Blue (BN0166-01L) has a green and blue bezel and a dial designed to look like a sparkling emerald green ocean.
The watch is water resistant to 200 metres, thanks to a screw-in crown at 4 o’clock.
It is worn on a biomass-based polyurethane strap from entirely recycled material.
7,000 pieces are being made, priced at £299.
The Attesa family has two options, both made in Citizen’s light and scratch-resistant Super Titanium.
One is a 42mm three-register chronograph with integrated titanium bracelet.
It is a limited edition of 2,400 pieces priced at £1,495.
The second, a world timer in a 42.5mm titanium case with black DLC coating, is worn on a black leather strap.
Production is capped at 2,200, and the watch is selling for £895.
