Citizen is set to push its watches to a fresh international market, through an advertising campaign at the 2013 ISU European Figure Skating Championships in Croatia.
The Zagreb-based competition will feature advertising hoardings, part of Citizen’s continued sponsorship of the skating contest. It also sponsors sister ISU events held in Canada and Japan.
Citizen will showcase a brand new watch called the Stiletto Blade through the rink-side campaign. The new watch is a 5mm thin Eco-Drive ceramic watch, thought to be the world’s thinnest solar-powered ceramic timepiece. It also features sapphire crystal glass.
The brand and this new timepiece is set to be positioned in front of millions of viewers, as the championship will also be televised.
