Citizen aims to improve retailer marketing support by appointing new PR agent

Citizen Watch UK has appointed Facets PR as its communications agency. The agreement also covers Citizen-owned brands Bulova, Frederique Constant and Alpina.

Facets says it will initiate a series of brand activities with consumer press, as well as influencer campaigns, event management and retailer support projects.

“2018 will be an important and exciting year in the development of Citizen Watch UK Ltd as we look to strengthen our market position of Citizen, while increasing consumer awareness for Bulova, Frederique Constant and Alpina. Appointing the specialist agency Facets PR as an extension of our in-house expertise will increase brand recognition and provide important support for our retail partners across all four of our main watch brands in the UK,” says Mark Robinson, group managing director of Citizen Watch UK Ltd.

Facets PR has been instructed to put retailer support at the heart of their activities. “Our brief is to provide consistent, hard-hitting and wide-reaching PR and marketing support to the experienced in-house team and to specifically support Citizen Watch UK Ltd’s retail customers with effective marketing content and activities,” says Sarah Carpin, director of  Facets PR.
