Chronoswiss makes Delphis watch in hand-decorated blue guilloché crystal

Jumping hour and retrograde minute watch arrives with stunning finish.

Chronoswiss has unveiled a version of its iconic 1990s Delphis watch with a sapphire blue hand-decorated guilloché dial.

The watch is being made in a limited production run of just 50 pieces.

Delphis watches were, and remain, radical in their design and architecture with jumping hours, retrograde minutes and a small seconds sub dial at 6 o’clock.

They are also hard to pigeonhole thanks to an oversized onion-shaped crown, most commonly associated with pilots’ watches and water resistance of an impressive 330 feet for the 42mm steel watch.

These practical elements take a back seat to the design and craftsmanship of this 2024 model with its bold blue crystal dial with guilloché decoration.

Chronoswiss is using its automatic caliber C.6004, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, which has a Nivarox balance spring skeletonized tungsten rotor, ruthenium- plated components, and Côtes de Genève finishing.

The movement has a power reserve of around 55 hours.

Worn on a rubber strap, the watch is on sale now for CHF 15,800.
