Christopher Ward unveils its first titanium watch

Christopher Ward has launched its first ever titanium timepiece – a divers’ watch called the C11 Titanium Elite Chronometer Limited Edition.

The titanium timepiece has been called a “significant addition” to the brand’s range of diving watches. It is 45% lighter than other steel watches in the range and features a COSC certified ETA 2824-2 automatic movement and is limited to just 500 pieces.

The watch also boasts a 38-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 500m, an attribute celebrated on the caseback, where a Makaira marlin – a feature motif in Christopher Ward’s collections – is engraved, alongside the words “Explorare ad Profundum Altum”, which loosely translates as “Explore the Depths”.

The strap is specifically high density rubber to fit with the needs of divers, museum grade crystal, and a Swiss made helium release valve, specially commissioned by the brand from manufacturer FIMM.
