Casio America has unveiled the latest editions to its Edifice collection, a release which certainly hots up the line.

Geared towards sports car enthusiasts, the colouring of the new EFR573HG-AV reproduces the heat gradation effect of the titanium exhaust pipes of a sports car that goes from gold, to red, and then to blue.

The heat gradation effect is duplicated on the inset dial rings and the outer edge of the watch face.

A stainless-steel band with a spring bar clasp accompanies the black ion plated bezel, while a thin,11.3 mm case complements the distinct face design and mineral crystal. Other features include a three-year battery life, water resistance up to 100 meters, a 1/1 second (10-minute) stopwatch and a date calendar.

The EFB680D-1AV and EFB680D-2BV are also luxury sports chronographs, featuring 48 mm octagonal cases, scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating and solid stainless-steel bands.

The 1AV model has a matte black/gray gradient face and the 2BV model has a gradient blue/navy face.

The EFB680D models are water resistant to 100 metres, have a two-year battery life, a 1/10 second (60-minute) stopwatch and a date calendar.

The EFR573HG-1AV retails for $200, and the EFB680D-1AV/2BV for $180.
