Award-winning American watchmaker, Brew Watch Co, has used forged carbon in a new chronograph within its cushion-shaped Metric collection.
Brew Watch Co was named American Watch Brand of the Year at the 2023 WatchPro USA Awards.
The company’s designer and founder, Jonathan Ferrer, says the new Metric Carbon Chronograph Watch is the result of a constant search for new new materials, colours, and concepts.
“Today we introduce to you a completely new aesthetic seen with the use of forged carbon and PVD gold accents,” he adds.
Previous Metric watches have been in steel with integrated steel bracelets, some with black PVD or gold finish, others in the raw metal with brushed finish.
Forged carbon is used in the new Metric Chronograph as a top plate that frames a black dial with gold coloured hands and markers.
Prices for the Metric Chronograph start at $450 and range up to $495 (excluding VAT) for the new Carbon piece.
They come in 36mm x 41.5mm cases standing 10.75mm tall and are powered by quartz movements.
