Bremont has become renowned for its April Fool’s day releases, and it certainly hasn’t let itself down this year.
Building on a long list of “releases” on April 1st which include watches that sing out ABBA’s Waterloo, timepieces that keep you afloat and novelties with shark detection tech, 2022 is the year of champagne.
In partnership with Williams Racing, of which Bremont is an official partner, today the British brand has launched what is described as the ultimate F1 timepiece.
Concealed in the watch is a tiny chamber filled with champagne, allowing the lucky wearer to celebrate life’s winning moments with a squirt of champagne.
Activated with just the press of a button, Bremont quipped that you could even spray champagne over someone who happens to be stood nearby – hoping they would see the funny side, of course.
