Bremont joins Alliance of British Watch and Clockmakers

Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato is said to have made the decision to join last year.

Bremont was a notable absentee from the first members joining the Alliance of British Watch and Clockmakers, but a visit by the company’s new CEO, Davide Cerrato, to the British Watchmakers’ Day earlier this year appeared to have lured it in.

In fact, Bremont had already joined the Alliance a few months’ earlier than the Watchmakers’ Day; an early decision by Mr Cerrato after he took the reins of the business from co-founders Nick and Giles English.

The Alliance of British Watch and Clockmakers was founded in 2020 and now has 93 member brands. It has a mission to promote and showcase British watch businesses around the world.

Mr Cerrato says Bremont has long admired the work of the British Watchmakers’ Alliance and had been discussing joining since he took over the brand last year.

“The Alliance brings together an incredible and diverse array of exceptional watchmakers who we are proud to stand alongside. Its members represent all that is great about British watchmaking, united in our passion for the industry and its crafts,” he adds.
