Only Watch, a charity auction that raises money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, has been rescheduled for May 10, WatchPro can reveal.

Only Watch was supposed to take place on November 5 last year with 62 brands donating unique watches.

It was postponed after questions were raised about governance of the charity and the research companies it supports.

The Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (AMM), a charity based in Monaco and operating under the principality’s Prince Albert, was forced to delay the sale until it provided audited information about how $100 million, raised since the first Only Watch auction was held in 2005, is dispersed to researchers and institutions searching for treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Only Watch was established by Luc Pettavino, who lost his son to DMD. He is also chairman of AMM and a shareholder of SQY Therapeutics, the biggest beneficiary of funds so far, which is researching treatments and running DMD trials.
