A new chapter is about to be written in Louis Vuitton’s watch story as it reveals Hollywood giant Bradley Cooper as a brand ambassador for the launch of the 2022 Tambour Twenty, a chronograph that pays homage to the original Tambour launched 20 years’ ago.
In his first contribution for the LVMH watchmaker, Mr Cooper straps on a 200-piece limited edition of the watch for a campaign video directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle and accompanying still images taken by photographer Boo George.
The new Tambour Twenty adopts original design codes of the 2002 Tambour including a deep, flared 41.5mm steel case.
It has a brown sunray dial, yellow chronograph hands, and the engraved letters “Louis Vuitton” wrapping around the case.
Inside, the watch uses a LV277 automatic chronograph movement with a 22-carat oscillating weight.
It is on sale at select Louis Vuitton boutiques priced at $17,800.
An advertising campaign for the Tambour Twenty goes live across Louis Vuitton social media channels and website on September 8.
