Rick de la Croix, founder and chairman of BOMBERG brings an Anglo-Swiss eye to his irreverent watch brand, which was founded in 2013 with a mission to bring unconventional thinking, avant garde design and in-your-face marketing to the stuffy world of Swiss watchmaking.
“Our watches and accessories are about attitude – a can-do, hands-on, risk-taking, life-loving attitude of grabbing onto experience and excitement every day. These watches are outsiders rebelling in the world of sameness, they’re timepieces that emanate the indispensable qualities of charisma, authenticity, and passion,” Mr de la Croix promises.
BOMBERG has recently been taken on by distributor and sales agent The Devoy Group, and customers in the UK will get an early opportunity to see the watches at November’s WATCHPRO Salon in London.

BOMBERG watches are typically large (typically 43mm to 45mm), loud artistic installations for the wrist.
The key line is the Bolt 68 collection, which comes in Racing chronographs, Neo automatics and Heritage varieties.
There are versions using Swiss-made automatic or quartz movements.
They all have their crown and pushers at the top of the watch head.
Retail prices range from around £1,000 up to £3,000 for some of the special edition automatics.
