UPDATED: Berry’s supports Mind as its chosen charity for 2023

The company hopes to raise £25,000 for this worthwhile cause with various fundraising efforts over the course of 2023, including its annual sponsored walk in September.

Berry’s Jewellers has partnered with mental health organisation Mind as its chosen charity to support throughout 2023.

It will see the jeweller focus all of its fundraising efforts throughout the course of 2023 in aid of Mind, the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.

The message from the Northern-based watch and jewellery retailer as part of the fundraiser, states: “No one should have to fight alone, but with your help we can be there for everyone who needs us.”

In announcing the news, Berry’s explained how it is supporting Mind because as a business, it understands the devastating impact the pandemic, and now the cost-of-living crisis, has had on the nation’s mental health.

It went on to detail how more people than ever are experiencing a mental health problem and need support from Mind.

The company hopes to raise £25,000 for this worthwhile cause with various fundraising efforts over the course of 2023, including its annual sponsored walk in September.

Simon Oxby, Head of Operations at Berry’s Jewellers, said: “This partnership will be a great way for colleagues to get together and have some fun whilst also raising awareness and money for Mind.

“The money raised will help Mind to support those with a mental health problem and enable them to continue their vital work across England and Wales.”

While Rebecca Hastings, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Mind, added: “We are so grateful to Berry’s Jewellers for supporting Mind. One in four of us experience a mental health problem each year.  The money raised will help support our vital services, like the Mind Infoline, and the campaigning we do so that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.”

The launch of a Just Giving fundraising page will go live on Berry’s social channels shortly.
