Aurum continues to pump cash into expanding all aspects of its retail operation as the company behind Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and The Watch Shop opened seven new boutique.Goldsmiths stores in the final quarter of 2016.
The concept Goldsmiths stores, which specialise in fashion watches and jewellery from the likes of Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss Olivia Burton and Swarovski, have opened in Bradford, Newcastle, Reading, Sheffield, Solihull, Guildford and Southampton during November and December.
Craig Bolton, executive Director for Goldsmiths, comments: “We are excited to be launching new stores around the UK, marking an exciting chapter for boutique.Goldsmiths as we continue to expand as part of our ongoing growth strategy. We hope that the new store features, personalisation aspect and Christmas campaign will excite our customers, just as much as the great fashion brands we stock”.
The expansion of the brand’s bricks and mortar locations follows the launch of its recently launched e-commerce website.
The new stores, including one at Southampton’s WestQuay which opened yesterday, feature digital screens replacing store windows and displaying the retailer’s Christmas video campaign.
