Le Régulateur Tourbillon Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Black unveils a new collaboration between the watch brand and the designer, who have been working together since 2019.

The tourbillon has never before been offered as a single piece – only in a triptych, or on a black background.

Alain Silberstein had not had the opportunity to create a timepiece equipped with a tourbillon for over a decade, but his friendship with Manuel Emch, CEO and artistic director of Louis Erard, made this return possible.

The Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Régulateur Tourbillon Black – 22.70 mm in width – houses a Swiss made tourbillon and is available in a limited edition of 78 pieces priced at CHF 15,900 (£14,000).

With the Tourbillon régulateur mechanical hand-wound, the watch boasts BCP T02 calibre and 100 hours of power reserve.

Its case is formed from microblasted grade 2 titanium and polished grade 5 titanium. Its movement is visible through the transparent caseback and it is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bars (100 m/330 ft).

The Alain Silberstein red lacquered signature crown is visible on the timepiece, as well as the Louis Erard symbol.

The dial is matt black with silvered counter at 12 o’clock, whilst the hands are Alain Silberstein signature hands: a red lacquered hour hand, blue lacquered minute hand and yellow lacquered second hand.

Its black nylon and microblasted grade 2 titanium straps feature a hook-and-loop fastener system for quick adjustment.
