Little more than a year after its major relaunch, Accurist has kicked its marketing activity into a higher gear by signing as Official Timekeeper for the prestigious Tour of Britain cycling race.
Accurist has also unveiled a limited edition Tour of Britain Origin watch to commemorate the partnership.

With the sponsorship of the speaking clock and countdown to the millennium we became a household name, setting the time of all other watches in the UK,” says Accurist brand manager, Oliver Archer.
“We’re delighted to be joining forces with The Tour of Britain, and look forward to supporting this wonderful cycling event with our precision timing which is so important for all the competitors and fans,” he adds.
The Tour of Britain is the UK’s leading cycling road race and one of the most prestigious on the global tour.
Accurist will use the partnership to draw attention to its heritage, Britishness and reputation for sporty, accurate timekeepers.
Only 100 of the limited edition Tour of Britain Origin watch are being produced, and the first eight will be given to stage winners of the race.
Full details of the watch are still under wraps, with Accurist only providing a few teaser images at this stage and saying that it will have subtle nods to the race and cycling as a sport.
