A. Lange & Söhne went live with a major overhaul to its website earlier this year that aims to be a shop window into the world of the brand.
The site does not offer the option to buy watches, but instead guides people to the brand’s boutiques and retail partners.
A visit to the new mobile-optimised site begins with a quote from Ferdinand Adolph Lange, stating: “The entire pursuit of a watchmaker should be the perfection of each and every watch.”
Lange’s current CEO Wilhelm Schmid, adds: “Our new website is meant to be a shop window that looks into the world of A. Lange & Söhne. Every Lange watch has its own story and heritage, and users decide how much of that they want to explore. We have therefore revised the content in every desired depth of information in five languages.
A total of 1,500 pages were created for the new website in German, English, Japanese and two Chinese language versions.
