Authorities in Japan have reported that luxury watches worth £4.9m (¥43m) have been stolen.
Reports speculate that around 60 watches were taken early on Monday morning from a store in Kumamoto City.
According to a report from Japan Today, local police said the stolen timepieces included high end brands like Rolex.
The article goes on to describe how the security alarm went off at 5:30am which prompted the security company to notify police.
The watches are said to have been stolen from showcases in the basement floor of the store after a a small window in a back room had been broken.
Staff said all was in order when the store closed at 8pm on Sunday.
