Officine Panerai has presented a new in-house, eight-day power reserve movement called the P.5000.
The eight-day power reserve is combined with manual winding. This harks back to Officine Panerai’s history, whereby the eight-day power reserve was vital to the frogmen commandos of the Italian Navy supplied by Panerai who, during their missions, required a highly reliable watch.
The P.5000 calibre features in new model, the Luminor Marina 8 Days Oro Rosso. The watch case and the dial have a classic design, which underlies the characteristics of the models produced for the Italian Navy.
