Audemars Piguet has answered calls for smaller versions of the Code 11.59 with a pair of watches in 38mm cases that will appeal equally to men and women.
Previously, Code 11.59 watches had only been made in 41mm or 42mm sizes.
The two models both come in 18ct rose gold cases with golden baton hour markers and hands.
They use the automatic Calibre 5900 three-hand movement with date, which was introduced in 2022 in smaller Royal Oaks.
One piece comes with a bold purple guilloché dial and matching alligator leather strap.
The other arrives with the same pattern in ivory.
Both are on sale now for £29,700.
Audemars Piguet is known for being the Royal Oak company. A Gerald Genta designed watch from 1970. The Code 11:59 is okay, but doesn’t get too many collectors excited. The dial and functionality is so meh! I would think that a Maison that is party of the Holy Trinity could do better. As a watch collector I would welcome the opportunity to give AP my suggestions any time for their design department to refine.
Hey there! I know this is kind of off-topic however I
needed to ask. Does running a well-established website such as yours
take a lot of work? I’m completely new to writing a blog
however I do write in my journal daily. I’d like to
start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring blog
owners. Appreciate it!
