Hanging around with TAG Heuer in a post-pandemic world is looking like a lot of fun.
Hot on the heels of one of the biggest parties of the year by a watchmaker at the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, the brand lit up Monte Carlo with a mega yacht bash for its European friends alongside the Monaco Grand Prix.
TAG Heuer has been the official watch of the Monaco Grand Prix since 2011, and considers the race its spiritual home and strongest connection to the motor racing sport so beloved of Jack Heuer.
TAG Heuer is also the official timekeeper for the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, and welcomed star drivers Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 World Champion, and Sergio Perez, who won the Grand Prix on Sunday, to the party on board the Jacques Cartier luxury cruise ship.
“We couldn’t be happier to be back in Monaco for the most exciting race on the calendar, honouring our historic ties with the Principality and supporting our partner since 2016, the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team, as they take on the challenging city circuit,” TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault said at the party, which took place ahead of the race.
“Monaco is a special place for TAG Heuer, the inspiration behind our most emblematic chronograph, and a track where we have lived through some of the most thrilling racing moments over the decades, in Formula 1 of course, but also Formula E or the Historic Grand Prix. Once again, we are proud to gather our closest friends and partners for an unforgettable weekend around our shared passion for motorsport,” he added.
Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix race weekend, TAG Heuer unveiled a new limited edition Dark Lord version of its iconic Monaco chronograph.
