Launched with the fanfare of a NASA moonshot, WOLF unveiled its portable Rocket watch winder this week with a mission to help travellers keep their timekeepers in peak condition.

The 185-year-old British heritage brand, which also produces jewellery boxes and fashion accessories, has unveiled the world’s smallest travel watch winder.

The Rocket is a mechanised cylinder containing a rechargeable battery-powered single watch winder.

It hits stores this month for £599.

It took WOLF two years of research and development to perfect the mechanics and design of the winder, which is small and light enough to pack in cabin luggage and will fit into hotel safes.

It is being promoted as a lifestyle choice for the business and holiday traveller.

“I am extremely proud of our latest innovation at WOLF – The Rocket is a result of a great deal of hard work and represents what WOLF is all about; bringing innovative, beautifully designed products to the market which solve a problem for consumers – they said ‘it couldn’t be done’ well, we’ve done it,” says WOLF CEO Simon Wolf.
