WatchWarehouse has relocated to a new larger distribution centre to facilitate recent growth at the retailer.
The new purpose-built 4,500 sq ft facility in north London will be used to handle what WatchWarehouse has described as "growing levels of stock and increasing number of sales".
It has also introduced a new warehouse management system that streamlines distribution processes to make it operations more efficient. WatchWarehouse runs a paperless logistics and operations system managed by mobile devices and barcode system that it said improves accuracy and speeds up the packing and packing process.
A statement from WatchWarehouse said: "A larger distribution facility was essential after huge growth in the online multichannel business meant that more space was needed for the ever growing product base, as well as to accommodate the new staff who had joined the team in line with the business expansion."
The facility opened last month.
