Watches and Wonders will take place from March 27 to April 2 in 2023, its organiser has announced.
There are not additional details on whether the show will evolve in any way from the format this year when Richemont’s brands were joined by Rolex, Tudor, Grand Seiko, Oris, Chopard, Chanel, Tudor, Hublot and Zenith.
There has been speculation that the success of the show — more than 50% bigger than the last time its predecessor SIHH took place in 2019 — could grow even larger.
Geneva’s Palexpo exhibition centre has several more halls that Watches and Wonders could expand into but industry sources told WATCHPRO that the show’s existing contract with the venue prevented it up until 2022.
Watches and Wonders was originally established as an event that would act as a centrepiece to a citywide celebration of watches across the whole of Geneva.
There were other shows in the city at luxury hotels by the lake and a university campus closer to Palexpo, but they were not officially aligned with Watches and Wonders.
Along with the dates for its Geneva event, Watches and Wonders has also announced an expansion of its plans in China.
There will be a fair in Shanghai from November 23 to 27, 2022 and an extended showcase running from October to December on Hainan Island sites Haikou and Sanya.
