Watch strap specialist LBS has confirmed it will sponsor the WatchPro Awards in 2019 for a fourth consecutive year.

Sam Rose, sales director of LBS (pictured above presenting a WatchPro Award to Beaverbrooks buyer Nick Bucknell at the 2017 event), says that the Awards dinner is the ideal opportunity for the British watch industry to come together for a big night to celebrate their achievements.

“As a British watch strap brand working with thousands of retailers in the UK, supporting the WatchPro Awards is incredibly important to us. As a company we want to see the industry thrive with companies, individuals and ideas and we feel that support of an event of this status is rightly deserved for the UK watch industry – long may it continue,” says Mr Rose. “The ability to appreciate employees or companies that have excelled in their field is something to celebrate. Everyone works very hard in our competitive industry and the highlight for me is to see the nominees, runners up and winners receive the recognition they deserve,” he adds.

The 2019 WatchPro Awards takes place on November 5, and will be building on the hugely successful 2018 event when over 320 leading executives gathered for the gala dinner.

“Each event that has passed has exceeded our expectations, with the awards night filled with the most worthy individuals in our industry. The event just gets bigger and better; anyone that was present in last year’s packed room of professionals will testify how amazing the night was and we are delighted to be part of the Awards for another year,” Mr Rose describes.
