WATCH FACES: See what you missed at the British Watchmakers’ Day

1,300 visitors squeeze into the inaugural British Watchmakers' Day in London.

The first British Watchmakers’ Day saw 45 exhibitors presenting and selling watches to around 1,300 visitors, the show’s organiser has confirmed.

As Corder’s Column described earlier this week, the event began with a queue of watch enthusiasts snaking around the block in London’s Westminster and ended with a spontaneous round of applause by delighted exhibitors.

The show was boosted by over a dozen brands making special edition watches specifically for BWD and available to buy only at the event.

Beaucroft Watches, Brooklands Watch Company, Christopher Ward, Duckworth Prestex, Elliot Brown, Fears, Freese Watches, MHD Watches, Monroe Adventure, Mr Jones, Roger Smith, Studio Underd0g, William Wood and Zero West all promoted their participation with the help of these special editions.

In case you missed the action, here is a spin through the show in pictures.
