Watchmaking is becoming an increasingly important part of Vicenzaoro, the international jewellery exhibition that runs in Vicenza, Italy, from January 19th to 23rd.
The global event is marking its 70th anniversary this year.
Two areas will be devoted to watches: TIME, a B2B area for contemporary watches with multi-channel distribution, private labels and accessories; and VO Vintage, an event open to the public and specifically for vintage watch and jewellery collectors and enthusiasts.
TIME is a showcase of 45 exhibitors including Locman, Edox, U-Boat, Maurice Lacroix, Herbelin and L. Kendall.
A special area for Italian brands includes presentations by Out Of Order, Allemano, Mondia, Perseo and Orologi Calamai.
VO Vintage, now in its fifth year, brings together pre-owned traders.
Organisers say that pre-owned and vintage watch exhibitor numbers are up 22% this year.
