Distributor Unique, which already distributes watch brands Festina, Candino and Lotus, has taken on the distribution of Oxygen Paris, a trendy fashion brand that features interchangeable Nato straps.
Oxygen’s signature collection was launched in July 2011 in France and it is now available in 17 countries.
Talking about taking on the brand, Unique’s Daniel Ozel said: "We have kept an eye on the brand for the last year or so and think that now is the right time. This style of watch is a big trend in Europe. Personalisation – although big in jewellery – is still relatively new for watches but very much an emerging trend."
He added: "The Oxygen watches are high quality, sporty and classic watches that have a luxury look while remaining affordable. We look forward to introducing the brand at the London Watch Show."
The Sport and Diver models come with an interchangeable strap, all packaged in a gift box. The straps can be easily switched with no need for tools. The collection’s cases are made of steel and the timepieces are water resistant to 100m.
Most recently, the Sport Dual Time model launched with three different dial colours, to match the hues on the strap.
The prices range from £17 to £179.
