Swarovski has unveiled two of its 2013 timepiece novelties in advance of BaselWorld, where it will present all its products at a single booth for the first time.
The watch brand has confirmed that it will release updates to its Octea Abyssal men’s collection and its Lovely Crystals watches for women, both of which launched last year.
The new Lovely Crystals watch feature 16 freely moving clear zirconia stones that glide around a mother of pearl dial. The watch has been fitted with a steel and yellow gold PVD coated bracelet.
Swarovski will also show its second collection of men’s watches; a product sector that has been a new avenue for the brand in recent years. The new Octea Abyssal watch has a stainless steel and matt silver-coloured aluminium case and bracelet and has been fitted with an automatic movement. A key feature of the watch is its fully faceted ceramic bezel and black cystal detailing on the strap that creates a graphic edge.
These watches, and others from the new collections, will be showcased on 2,000m² stand at BaselWorld in Switzerland in April. For the first time the company will be able to showcase all of its wares – watches, jewellery, crystals and gems – on a single stand at the show.
